We create collaborative, community-based learning experiences for next generation arts and environment leaders.
Water Bar & Public Studio artists work with educators and students to create unique learning experiences within and beyond the classroom, equipping next generation arts and environment leaders with inspiration and practical skills for collaboration, community engagement, and creative problem-solving.
These learning experiences range from class visits, to field trips and workshops, to project-based learning, to custom-designed courses on socially-engaged and environmental art, public interest design, arts activism and more.
Water Bar Co-Directors and affiliated artists have extensive experience working with educators and institutional partners to create one time experiences that meet the goals of existing classes and campus communities. We also design collaborative projects and courses that invite students to delve deeper into arts and ecology topics, resulting in public exhibitions, programs, publications, and other off-campus engagement.
