Every Saturday Water Bar is open, serving free tap water from around the metro and beyond! Stop in, slow down, taste water, and think about your connection to it. Our volunteer Water Tenders are here to answer questions, ask questions, and help make connections.
On Saturday, February 10th, we will also be joined behind the bar by scientists from the University of Minnesota - Water Resources Center.
This Saturday, join YO MAMA (artist Amoke Kubat) for a Water Bar storytelling space inspired by the children's book The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.
Tell YO MAMA all about your snowy day experience with our most recent blizzard, or another severe weather story. How did you deal with a challenging weather day, like the day a tornado swept through North Minneapolis? Your story may become a part of a traveling exhibition about climate vulnerability and resilience in Minneapolis.
This event is the first of four workshops to tell stories about challenging weather conditions, natural and human-made disasters, and building relationships for climate resilience and disaster preparedness.
