Singer Jayanthi Kyle is back with her intergenerational family and community music hour. These 4-part weekly music sessions are specifically designed for children from birth to seven years of age and their care giving adult(s).

This program will grow our natural desires to stand up and love each other across any real and perceived barriers, and to tap into the musician inside all of us.

Jayanthi (along with Million Artist Movement) will aide families in fostering socially-conscience singers by drawing on those who have made the road before us – Ella Jenkins, Woody Guthrie, Sharon Jones, Bob MarlEy and all the others from the Caribbean to Africa to the American Folk Cannon and beyond.

You and your loved younger human will sing about our peaceful instincts, self-esteem, empathy, history, responsibility, and honesty. You can expect Instrument making, songwriting, and basic music theory. Your child will gain an understanding of melody, rhythm, and much more.
