A Happy Hour for Water and for People.

This fun group experience will build community among your staff or project team, while introducing important water issues and perspectives. You’ll taste drinking waters from a variety of places, hear compelling water stories, and learn about critical water issues. The cost for this experience is $25 per person, with a minimum of 10 people. For an additional fee, we can tailor this experience to themes chosen by your group.

Water Bar is one of the best ways I’ve found to engage with the public and have conversations about water. The unique concept draws people in, gets them thinking about water, and helps them open up and share their thoughts and questions about water. It’s a hit.

  • About 1,800 people have face-to-face interactions at the Water Bar each day.

  • Each face-to-face group engagement lasts about 5-8 minutes.

  • Beyond those high impact impressions, 21,000 people will come into contact with Water Bar each day of the State Fair. 252,000 people in total!

  • Water Bar engages over 100 volunteer Water Tenders from communities across Minnesota to share their story at the State Fair.

  • Over the course of the exhibit, we distribute printed materials to about 12,000 visitors.

  • The Water Bar exhibit also generates media attention. Each year, we are featured on local TV news stations, where we have the opportunity to amplify messages about the value of water.

  • Water Bar is a popular subject of organic social media content creation across channels like Instagram and Facebook.
