Jayanthi Kyle and Million Artist Movement are back with their intergenerational music hour at Water Bar. These weekly music gatherings are specifically designed for children from birth to seven years of age and their caregiving adults.
This program draws upon Ella Jenkins, Woody Guthrie, Sharon Jones, Bob Marley and others to grow our natural desires to stand up and love each other across real and perceived barriers, and to tap into the musician inside all of us.
You and your loved younger human will sing about our peaceful instincts, self-esteem, empathy, history, responsibility, and honesty. Along the way, we’ll make instruments, write songs together, and learn basic music theory. Your child will gain an understanding of melody, rhythm, and so much more.
Tickets are $25 per family per session. A handful of pay-what-you-can scholarship tickets are available, contact us for more information.
